WHVFC is saddened to announce the passing of life member Thaddeus A. "Ted" Krawiec
HAMILTON - Thaddeus A. "Ted" Krawiec, 81, of Yardville died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifetime area resident. He attended St. Hedwig's School and Trenton High School. A U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict, Ted served in Korea and Japan.
He was a retired vending mechanic with L A Foods and was previously employed with T & M Vending for more than 25 years. He was also the proprietor of Mercer Tile Co.
Ted was a faithful member of St. Raphael's Church. He was a life member of the White Horse Vol. Fire Co. with over 40 years of service as a firefighter and fire policeman, and was a member of the Polish American Club, the Hamilton ELKS and an avid bowler.
Son of the late Jacob and Anelia "Nellie" Krawiec and brother of the late Anne Krawiec, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Florence Kandebo Krawiec; his daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and John Kirchner of Lambertville and Kathy and Anthony Mantuano of Hamilton; his sister, Sr. Mary Angela Krawiec; his brother, Joseph Krawiec; his beloved granddaughter, Kelley Ann Mantuano; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Funeral service will be Monday at 9:45 a.m. at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Raphael's Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Hamilton.
Relatives and friends may call on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
