WHVFC is saddened to announce the passing of one of our life members. Michael Peoples, 56, of Hamilton passed away Tuesday April 23rd at home.

Born in Yardville, Mike was a lifelong area resident. A graduate of Steinert High School, he retired from Acme Markets and was currently employed by Sherute LLC of Hamilton.

Mike enjoyed many hobbies over the years. He loved working on cars with his dad, camping with family and friends and going to NASCAR races, but, most of all, riding his motorcycle and going on bike trips with some of his best friends.

Mike was a volunteer and past chief of the White Horse Volunteer Fire Company and was the founder and past president of the Red Knights NJ 14 Motorcycle Club. He was the current treasurer for the NJ State Firemen's Association.

He was a very loving and devoted husband, a proud father, son, brother and friend to many. He was looking forward to being a loving "Pop-Pop", too. Son of the late Paul Peoples and son-in-law of the late Richard W. Sost Sr., he is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Sost Peoples; his daughter and son-in-law, Bethany and Justin Duino; his son, Michael J. Peoples and Erica Graziano; his mother, Agnes Peoples; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Linda Peoples, Jeffrey Peoples, Richie and Cindy Peoples, Bobby Peoples, and Brian and Marie Peoples; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie Stype, Claire and Gary Wilson, Christine and Tony Ziegler and Terri and Brian Treanor; his mother-in-law, Dorothy M. Sost; his brothers-in-law, Richard W. Sost Jr., Thomas Sost and wife, Athena; his sisters-in-law, Virginia Fratz and husband, Gordon, Frances Sammons and husband, Chris; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and brothers in fire service.

Funeral services will be Monday at 8:30 a.m. from Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, www.KingstonandKemp.com. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church, 4680 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. Private cremation will follow. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
